You have probably run into children who either don't have good table manners or can't mind their P's and Q's. Now there's hope. They can go to charm school.
In fact, the rules of etiquette are even part of the lesson plan in a growing number of public schools.
Ladies and gentlemen, mind your manners!
And please, be courteous, too.
The 7th and 8th graders at I.S. 109 in Queens Village are learning the rules of etiquette under the, oh so very proper eye of manners expert, Samantha von Sperling.
While etiquette classes are more commonly thought of as a birthright for those in high society. They're becoming part of the lesson plan in a growing number of public schools.
These classes are also picking up where moms and dads leave off.
To some, it may seem frivolous, but in reality, experts say learning social graces give kids the confidence they'll need to get ahead in life.
