Awake Cosmetics' Vital Express Eye Concentrate Mask is formulated with soybean extract to deliver moisture to the eye area. This special eye patch re-hydrates and boosts collagen production around the eye area to counteract signs of aging and helps maintain skin elasticity.
Ideally, this product should be used twice a week around the eye area. The Vital Express Eye Concentrate Mask is a semicircle wet cloth pad that is placed around the eye area from inside corner of the eye to the outer corner of eye. After relaxing for 10 minutes, the patch can be removed and the excess residue on skin can be absorbed into the skin.
This product felt nice on the eye area and left the eyes looking refreshed and re-hydrated. The eyes looked noticeably more alive and awake after the treatment. Although the product felt pleasant, a truly radical change did not occur. A couple of tea bags and a good night's rest would have yielded the same results. Then again, I am a young candidate for the product, which is marketed for older adults with more prominent signs of aging. Aging occurs when you lose cell renewal capabilities and collagen elasticity.
The ingredients in the Vital Express Eye Concentrate Mask are preventative and slow down the aging process making it better for those older adults. Bottom line: For those who are obsessed with the skin around the eyes this is a great product. For those just starting to wrinkle around the eyes, this might be a little too much to early.
