The Brush Sleeve is the best tool for makeup artistry since the powder brush met the MAC Brush Belt. A must-have for any professional or amateur makeup artist, this ingenious product keeps your most frequently used brushes organized and handy! Likewise, the Brush Sleeve could be irreplaceable to hair stylists, manicurists and other beauty professionals.
The fully adjustable Brush Sleeve features an ultra-secure Velcro closure that is backed by a non-slip, sweat-proof fabric. It is comfortably fitted to wear all day; its deluxe design is shaped to follow the natural contour of your arm. For those of us that create beauty-messes while we work, the high-quality, durable vinyl simply wipes clean with a damp cloth.
There are 11 elasticized loops that easily adjust to hold all items firmly in place, yet they are released easily. An interior safety pouch allows the proud owner to keep their cash, ID and business cards handy.
I use the Brush Sleeve to keep my makeup and powder brushes at the ready when doing makeup on my clients, runway models, movie stars and politicians. It saves me time and the stress of finding my brushes on some of the insane locations I work at. Finally, there are no more misplaced brushes. A serious relief for any makeup artist!

Mind you, brushes are not the only thing that the Brush Sleeve could hold. It can hold lash curlers, nail clippers, eye and lip liners, tweezers, cuticle trimmers, emery boards, pens and pencils, scissors, combs, hair clips, credit cards, breath mints, gum and so much more! The Brush Sleeve surpasses the Brush Belt many times over, providing the most convenient access to the mission critical items of your trade.
Rebecca Racheal Designs truly provide another invaluable tool to the beauty services professions.

"I had a vision of making my job - the makeup artist's job - easier. It came after months of finding my brushes on the floor ... or not finding my brushes at all after another artist had 'borrowed' them. Replacing the tools that were missing from my workstation had cost me my day's wage a couple of times. I wanted to find a solution that would allow me to handle a greater number of clients in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, so efficiency was key. I was also very concerned at the physical stress I was experiencing from the stretching, twisting, and straining I was doing. An ergonomic solution that would allow me to work without turning away from the client with every application would be ideal, especially one that would allow me to hold a prepared palette in one hand, so I could keep my other hand free to apply the makeup.
"It had to be lightweight and comfortable, and easier to use than a brush belt. After bending my neck and thrusting my torso forward hunting brushes on my waist for a few hours, my neck and back would be sore. The style had to be complimentary as well; I didn't feel like the brush belts looked appropriate with the fashions I was used to wearing to events. In an industry where the emphasis is beauty, the brush belt looked out of place to me.
"I had worked with brush rolls in the past and found that they took up a lot of valuable space in my workstation. I had also seen makeup artists leave them behind! Since even one brush can cost more than $100, I could not afford to have that happen to me. There had to be a better option. I was determined that since I couldn't find it, I would create it.
"I sewed my first prototype myself, hunted down the best manufacturer, and continued to improve the design throughout several iterations. The result of two years of research and testing is the model you see here, manufactured by Dooney & Bourke to my specifications. I realized that the Brush Sleeve could be used by people in any number of industries for many of the same reasons I developed it. Some of my early guinea pigs include hair stylists, aestheticians, illustrators, nail technicians, and even my dentist!
"I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how the Brush Sleeve could revolutionize your way of working. Contact me at Rebecca@BrushSleeve.com."
